Gave my triple set of cheapo-throwers (certainly my gateway to the large Spyder throwers) a quick and crappy "high viz" treatment (but it still serves its purpose)
They were all black, I just scraped of some of the coating and made the handles a bit "carribean-like" ;)

Pac Salt did just cut the tape and is in my pocket now.

So much quality here, I take this when I am delivering a boat somewhere and am always impressed how solid these are. Excellent!

Again... :)
Perhaps you are just waiting for my snow-pics in order to put your summer-sun-beach-pics directly below them... ;)

Anyway, it is one of the many nice things of this forum that people from many different places all over the world share the same passion here. And almost always in such a friendly manner! :)

Nice shot, and you managed once more to put our two-very-different-climate pics directly in a row!! :)
Funny! I've noticed that VashHash and myself post pics back to back quite often too. We must get free time at the same time. :p
I think you might be onto something here, Rick! :) (viewtopic.php?f=2&t=60127&p=1504944#p1504944)

I assume you´re talking about the knife and not the pen?

Yes, the Ikuchi is a really cool, unique design. One I´d certainly want to try if I got even more into Spydercos, or better said would have more funds for trying various models.
I like the very long edge in a rather short and extremely slim package and the acute tip. Also this is another model where I like the comp. lock (and I don´t think it could be made that narrow ("not tall") with a CBBL or backlock, perhaps just with a linerlock) - I just wonder from looking at pics how well the comp. lock would be to operate, given the seemingly small cutout, and the slim and not too grippy handle - ?!

yes. i was referring to the ikuchi. i like that it's very different from other spydercos i own already. all of my knives are really quite different from each other and i prefer to get strange models instead of collecting multiples of the same model (although there are a few i wouldn't mind doubling up on).

i think i ignored the ikuchi when it was released because i really kind of hate the fake carbon fiber scales and avoid them on principle. i'd probably look for something aftermarket if i end up getting one.

since this one came out, i got the crkt ceo and i really like the clean and thin package. it would be cool to have a nicer knife that fits that niche, like the ikuchi.
