Do folks know which retailers have accounts with this distributor? I saw the WayofKnife link in the “delivered & upcoming” thread, but am wondering if other retailers will carry this.

It seems like some distributor exclusives get spread out across a number of outlets while others are only available from one retailer.
Cutlery Shoppe put up their listing for it (not available yet)
Nice. $117 is much easier to swallow.

$117 is much more reasonable. I'm not usually one to balk at prices but $168 did seem like a lot. I'm trying to curb my spending on knives by being more selective. So I'm still not sure if I'll be in for this one. I may trade my Pakkawood one in for this one. We'll see

This looks like fun. In! Pakkawood DF2 has been in pocket all week and this would be my first coated DF2.

That price certainly makes it more attractive. I like the idea of a more upscale version of the dragon fly.

So apparently the scales are "solid carbon fiber" -- did anyone find clarification about liners/no liners yet?

The Cutlery Shoppe is listing it for $117.60.

I like my little orange Dragonfly in VG10, but it only gets carried when I can't carry something bigger. For that, it doesn't see much use, and Cru-Wear wouldn't provide substantial benefit. But if I didn't already have a Dragonfly, I'd consider this new one.

Well, since I already have 9 DF's and one more on the way, why not this one, too?

$117 is a much better price. It is only about $16 more than the K390 dragonfly and it comes with a coated blade and carbon fiber scales.

Dragonfly - check
Cruwear - check
CF - meh
Price - ah, heck no!

For the love of the Spyder, please make Cruwear a standard steel so we don't have to act like trained circus dogs jumping through flaming hoops for a chance to overpay for it.
Not before S30V become standard for the Dgfly and the Delica.

Well that's even better! It'd sure be less confusing if the actual distributor got the price right on their website...🤦‍♀️

Seems like an nice little backup, although I always thought the dragonfly carried kinda shallow.

Also cutlery shoppe says 168 again for me, could someone from spyderco chime in and clear this up please?

The Knife Distributor shows "$168 MAP" on their listing. I am guessing CS thought that was the MSRP at first, but realized their mistake and changed it to reflect the $168 MAP pricing. The Knife Distributor shows the Para 3 SE C23GPS model at MAP $147 in their listing, which is the correct MAP pricing for that model at dealers. So in conclusion, I am making the assumption that $168 is the correct MAP price that we will be paying from CS and any other dealer who carries these. This is not really surprising as the St Nick's G10 Delica was $190 and the Fradon Lock CF Delica was $170 last year. I imagine sales will be slow at that price point. They should have just stuck to black FRN. Tons of people have been begging for a blacked out Dfly for so long and Cruwear to boot. FRN would have been an easy sell out. Oh well, i'll still buy one of these.

At 117 I was debating if it was worth it for me. At 168 it’s a hard pass. Way too many good knives in that price range. I agree I would’ve liked a regular cruwear dragonfly without the carbon fiber.

I’m not really a fan of the grid pattern carbon fiber anyways. I like the marbled carbon fiber more like on the kapara.
