Did you catch them yourself!?
These came from right under my dock.
Awesome! What a satisfying feeling that has to be.
It really is. I am blessed and humbled. My diet consists of 90% Mangrove Snapper/Spiny Lobster that I catch myself and 10% chips and beer. 🤣Helps me save some money for more knives. The Z-Cut is awesome in the kitchen, love that steel and the Bow River is perfect for butterflying lobster amongst other things.

Almost 70F today, perfect hiking weather just like yesterday.

Love that pic! Great landscape and also type of rock. Makes me want to roam around there immediately.. :)
It's a fun spot. Close to the city, as you can see, and it has spots for scrambling and climbing. First spot I ever went rock climbing after moving down here, in fact.

Quick story time.

This is the second Street Beat I owned. I traded the first one away because I used my Aqua Salt more. Traded it for my first serrated Pacific Salt, which changed my perspective a bit.

Bought another Street Bowie a few years ago to replace the first.

Here's some images from '14 from the same mountain :)

Spontanously felt like Manix today, after a pretty long Stretch "stretch" :)

In the back drop the first "real" mountain (so just not a hill anymore) closest to where I live (like 10 minutes away by car, 20 by bike).
Not a high one, but what can not be seen in the pic: Actually covers a pretty large area (consists of a large high plateau) and is a real adventure place :)
Lots of huge caves, climbing walls, powder ski decents, forgotten old trails and ruins back to the late middle ages and so on...
Sometimes I feel like I spend 1/3 of my life up there... :D

Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)

Ah the memories... we used to trade fresh fish to a guy who ran lobster traps. So good. I used to hammer the mangrove snapper with a popping cork and shrimp.

Thats awesome!! I love the Mangroves, such a nice white meat that takes any seasoning perfectly. A dab of butter/Old-Bay in a popping hot cast-iron pan for about 45 seconds on each side and perfection is served!!

When I'm at that job I'm doing overnight security generally. One of the reasons me and Wartstein are always posting late together despite the time zone difference.

Manix again today.

Here in front of the Salzburg Zoo (https://www.salzburg.info/en/sights/top10/zoo-salzburg), which belongs to the large park area of Hellbrunn, built by the Salzburg Prince Archbishop in the early sixteenhundreds (see also here
viewtopic.php?f=2&t=60127&hilit=bd1n&st ... 0#p1495124)

The Zoo actually dates back to 1424 a.d., the building and wall you can see in the pic are from around 1640 as far as I know
(And of course the living conditions of the animals have HUGELY improved since then... ;) )

More than just lucky! I am so grateful to live where I live. No place could ever be better for me. :) - this was sunset for example, just like 1.5 hours ago on a nice little mountain run (no need to search, no knife in this pic by way of exception ;) )
