It really is. I am blessed and humbled. My diet consists of 90% Mangrove Snapper/Spiny Lobster that I catch myself and 10% chips and beer.
Helps me save some money for more knives. The Z-Cut is awesome in the kitchen, love that steel and the Bow River is perfect for butterflying lobster amongst other things.
It's a fun spot. Close to the city, as you can see, and it has spots for scrambling and climbing. First spot I ever went rock climbing after moving down here, in fact.

In the back drop the first "real" mountain (so just not a hill anymore) closest to where I live (like 10 minutes away by car, 20 by bike).
Not a high one, but what can not be seen in the pic: Actually covers a pretty large area (consists of a large high plateau) and is a real adventure place :)
Lots of huge caves, climbing walls, powder ski decents, forgotten old trails and ruins back to the late middle ages and so on...
Sometimes I feel like I spend 1/3 of my life up there... :D

Ah the memories... we used to trade fresh fish to a guy who ran lobster traps. So good. Quick story time.
This is the second Street Beat I owned. I traded the first one away because I used my Aqua Salt more. Traded it for my first serrated Pacific Salt, which changed my perspective a bit.
Bought another Street Bowie a few years ago to replace the first.

Thats awesome!! I love the Mangroves, such a nice white meat that takes any seasoning perfectly.
