Is there any chance we will see this knife again in another steel? Say S90V or Rex 45?
I missed this one....

I'd even like a fixed blade of the same design that had a 5 inch blade with carbon fiber handle.

It's a super cool design. Super expensive, too... especially for a S30V blade. Which is why I had no chance to pull the trigger when it was still out there. It does scream out to me though......
S90V would make it even more pricey. Rex45 probably too.

I agree 100% with what you said. Of all people, I do not have a lot of money to throw around, but when I see a design that I like I figure it's better to have one that I really like rather than 2 or 3 that I'm not smitten with.
It would be fantastic to get that in either of those steels in a 5 inch long fixed blade.

That's a complex grind - will not be cheap in any steel
Re: Spyderco Brend Mamba
I always loved the lines of this design.

I got to handle one at a gun show. Not exactly EDC.
It's a trophy knife for the display case.
Huge knife with an amazing carbon fiber handle.
Really liked it, but that point in the handle dug into one of my fingers.
Not a handle that you would start grinding on.
