Interesting to see the wharncliffe blade on so many knives recently. Idk if I like the way it looks on the PM2 though.

Awesome! I passed on the waved pm2 and the tanto pm2, but I am definitely in on this one! I've even got a set of micarta scales waiting. ;)

It might look a little off but I bet it is a workhorse. I’m intrigued.

It looks awesome but I'm kind of bummed it's not in the typical Cutlery Shoppe orange -- not that I can't remedy that easily enough.

I wonder if an orange G-10 CTS-XHP is in the works next?

“ This brand new blade shape is exclusive to Cutlery Shoppe for the Para Military 2 & Para 3 platforms”

Did anyone else notice they mentioned a Para 3 version also?

I'd be willing to bet there is an Orange one in the PM2 and Para 3 already in the works. Probably with CTS-XHP or S90V.

This brand new blade shape is exclusive to Cutlery Shoppe for the Para Military 2 & Para 3 platforms, and this is the "launch" knife and the first of many to come.

Not really a fan of the comp lock, so this is a pass for me. BUT, this blade looks like it would be AWESOME in the Stretch platform. Maybe Jeff can request a Stretch Wharnie in Orange FRN with CTS-XHP?!?

this is the first pm2 i've seen that i would actually want. unfortunately, it's too similar to my sheepsfoot caribbean for me to pull the trigger, but it looks really great.

I understand that a sprint order takes time, but this would've been extra cool if it was S45VN.

The spine profile doesn't look good, IMO although it's easily fixed.

I was thinking the same thing, looks all jacked up and wonky. Easy pass! The thread had me intrigued for a moment though.

Unexpected blade-shapes (whether edges or spines) in models I have come to love have been playing havoc with my comfort zone.

Clearly, I need to get over my idée fixe regarding what constitutes a model.

FOMO got me wanting the straight-spine Stretch. Got it with the idea that it was a self-closing PM2 with an even more practical edge, but I couldn’t bring myself to like the ivory handle and sold it. The upcoming K390 Stretch is now on my radar, even though I prefer the look of a drop-point spine, especially as it closes into the Stretch’s curvaceous handle. K390 is one of faves, and the Police4 got me past European steels in Japan-made Spydies.

FOMO has now got me wanting a drop-point UKPK (love of blade-shape) and the tanto PM2 (more for the love of the blade’s sculpture-like grinds than for the edge, which I would want compare to my recurve Spydies).

So, if a tanto PM2 now intrigues, why not a sheepified wharnie PM2. I’ll be watching.

This one is not for me, but I'm glad it exists. Expanding the blade profiles available is a good thing.

Love a wharncliffe, love a PM2, but this one leaves me cold. I’m sure it will cut like a beast, though.

Seems eerily like a Canis.
