Haha! No, but I am carrying less than four today ;) . Thought I'd just post the one this time, it doesn't get much attention. :D

With the windchill today, temps were in the range of -30 to -50 Fahrenheit (-35 to -45 Celsius) at the summit! Coldest temps I’ve ever experienced.

Very nice! :)
Same mountain as last time?

/ And yes, that´s pretty cold. I´ve read somewhere that in that kind of cold the G10 of the Caribbean might be better than FRN, since FRN can get brittle at very low temps. No idea if that is true, I never had any problems with FRN on very cold winter days (though admittedly in this temps I also tend to not use my folders too much... )
Thanks! This is a different mountain but still in the White Mountains of New Hampshire.

And I agree, in those temps, I had no intentions of using my folder. LOL! I took my glove off at the summit to take a picture of my friend and my hand felt instantly frozen. This photo is actually from a viewpoint along the trail, below tree line and out of the wind.

Two winter-mountain-knife-pics in a row (yours and mushrooms)!I like yours a lot too! :)

I feel very fortunate living here. Sitting on a beach admiring the Pacifc one minute, and some 3 hours later, be able to ski at 9000' in the Sierras.

Today's carry:

These leathermans are getting addicting. Bought two Juice and one Squirt in the last month or two :D

20210130_151255_copy_2016x1134.jpg
... and that was a good idea! :)
- The Squirt is great for its size (lives in my running pack for really long runs and came in handy not only once)
- My Juices made me sell the Skeletool (you still have). For me a lot more function in a more compact package, better (and pointier) pliers, slicier blade (at least the OLD Juice versions), more reach with the screwdrivers and: The removable bit driver can be used (but not on the skeletool) wich gives you even a lot more reach and functionality.
- Keep searching for an OLD CS4, you won´t regret it! Gives you a LOT more functionality than a Skeletool (great saw, awl, scissors,,,,) in a more compact size
I'll keep an eye for sure, thanks for the info!

Im gonna gift my skeletool to a friend. I didnt like having the blade as the main tool since I always carry a spyderco anyway.

I definitely want to try a wave+ but, I think the juice and squirt will be my main carrys. Great sizes

Perhaps we should do a dedicated thread in the off topic section (or I am sure there will be one already anyway) ;)

/ I sold my Wave and Charge (essentially a "pimped up" Wave). Don´t need the blades being on the outside (I would though concerning the knife if I did not carry a Spyderco anyway), the screwdrivers are really short and it has no awl.
The Rebar is more my thing: Long screwdrivers, sleek and slim package, lighter than the Wave but I guess even more durable.
What´s nice on the wave though: Optional pocket clip!

I may have wandered off the reservation for a day or two, it is good to be back.
Not a lot of magic here, but it's in the pocket today.
