Not the most practical knife in use, but they sure are fun to have! Feels like a knife every nut should have...and you certainly qualify as a knife nut!

Is the glassbreaker tip sharp? Is it annoying sticking out of your pocket?

Nope, it is not sharp. I've also never encountered any issues while carrying it, hasn't effected my comfort at all. I've probably carried it around 25 times now.

Similar size, and of course both are titanium frame lock flippers, but past that they are totally different. You are familiar with the Hinderer, so I won't go into it. The Evo is lighter, slimmer, and the blade is ground to a very thin edge. Also a bit more slippery to hold since there really isn't much jimping and no roughness to the titanium. It's very svelte.

I have no worries putting it to work, and I did some feathersticking with it just because! But if I had to choose between the two in a situation where I'm going to put a lot of force on the knife I'd probably choose the Hinderer. It's made for it. I'm sure the Evo can hold up, but I haven't used it enough to get a feel for how well it would stay in my hand in a situation like that. I'll get some cardboard cutting in soon and I'll know more after that.

It's definitely worth the wait and the price!

Giving my Sage 2 a break for the day. Carrying a Roland Lannier Spring Heeled Jack. This isn't the greatest picture in the world, but if you look closely you'll see that the handle scales are made of comic book pages.

That's a Lionsteel. Handle shape is almost the same pattern as their lovely-looking B40s.

Thanks! This blue one is a BladeHQ exclusive but they have a lot of options. It's a great knife. It was a little stiff at first but eventually broke in and it's been a good one.
