What are the + signs beside certain usernames?

#1

Post by Fisher of Men »

I just wondered when you look at the main page where it says who is online, some of the users have a + (plus) sign after their name. Do any of you know what that means or is there for?

See attached pic...

Thanks,
David :)

It may be members who've added you to ignore or buddy list. Just a guess.

FoM-

I would never have noticed so let me take a stab at this-

Maybe it means that they are "forum members of the month", you know like "student of the month".

Maybe if we try real hard we can get one of + marks!

Good guess on the buddy list thing. I think that's it.

However in the past, there have been people (I think) with the + sign that have not been on my buddy list. :)

The people with + signs in the above picture I just realized are on my buddy list :)

Thanks,
David

I didn't figure that one myself.
First they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not stand up, because I was not a Trade Unionist.

I've never noticed the pluses as I haven't buddied up with anyone yet. I figured everyone here was friendly enough it doesn't really matter to me. I have found the time to chat with a few of the forumites out of the forums though and I can say that you guys are nice people, you all know who you are. But either way you look at it, this has been the friendliest forum I have ever been on and I would consider all of you my friends and would have any of you to dinner or throw back some cold ones. Cheers all.
