Darn it! Looks like I (intentionally) missed out on this one!

I don't usually have a desire to own a knife with purple scales but I was briefly tempted to pick up this one. Then I saw that the maple Chap was shipping to dealers and that ended my thoughts of getting the Crurple Manix 2

I had to step away from work and was surprised that it had lasted until I got my order in at 6 mins after the hour!

Got my order in right at noon EST with zero lag, hesitation, or delays. Smooth as silk. They must have figured out their server issues. Great experience. Now on to the Military and Manix XL! I'll take some FRN Seki ones in this combo too, but I'd guess they will continue on with the OD Green/Cruwear in Seki. Hopefully Endela, Endura, and Straight Spine Stretch next in that series.

i'm guessing the manix just isn't as popular a design, so it didn't sell out as fast or have as much traffic.

I saw a YT review where they picked the Para 3 up in this configuration after 20 minutes from the release at DLT; so same time frame as this release. I think a lot of people just don't like the DLC coating.

Yep, Manix always last a little longer compared to a PM2/Para 3, heck even Shaman sprints/exclusives are going quickly too. That's fine by me though :) I did pass on this one.

Got mine with no issues. Very happy to add Cru-wear back into the rotation. I still miss my grey checkered cru-wear manix I foolishly let go of. This one is right up my alley with the purple G10 and DLC blade. To me its a subtle but elegant combo meets badda$$. Plus I love how sticky you can get cru-wear and the manix platform I think lends well to cru-wears strong suits. This ones a keeper for me and I would say flying somewhat under the radar it seems? Maybe overshadowed by Fridays PM2 drop.

BHQ has their M4/Jade combo with tanto blade PM2, also in satin or DLC

I wouldn't worry about this...judging by how slow it sold out compared to the Para series, I'm betting you'll find a few ones being sold in the secondary market time and again someday. :)

Do we know for sure the size of the run? If 1500, the Purple Manix was selling at a rate of 75 per minute.

Are similar runs limited 2 per person?
