The Meat Man got it, it’s biltong. Dried, cured beef (in this instance).

I made some biltong once. Wrist-thick strips of lean beef, seasoned with salt and pepper, hung on hooks in the cool, dry basement with a fan blowing on them for 5 days or so, until dried through. It was good stuff.

Nice looking knife, I'm gonna carry my pakkawood dragonfly tomorrow now!

I really like the squirt so far (got it a couple weeks ago). I think I am going to get a blue micra to try out as well

The Squirt is great for its size. Lives in my running pack (like the Juice CS4 (old version) in my mountaineering packs).

The Micra is cool with its sleek design, but functionwise the Squirt is the better choice for me in that size category.

The Micra has two main advantages IMO - much better scissors and you can leave it unfolded while using the tools for a four finger grip. The Squirts pliers, wire cutters and better nail file make it my choice, though.

Picked up this guy yesterday. Been wanting a Police for a while but didn't want a SS or FRN version.
Needs some TLC and a sharpening.
Doesn't look like I can disassemble it though. Would WD40, a soak, some air and pivot lube be enough ?
