Sage 5 Lt wt with test blade from CPM-REX 121.

sal

That´s very cool!! For me first and foremost that seemingly now the Sage 5 LW perhaps will get some variants in the small comp. lock-knife arena, an not only the Para 3! Just for the sake of variety, and for those who are like me and prefer the Sage over the Para 3.
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)

Whenever I see one, I miss the one I had... great overall design!
I´d love to see a linerlock-version with grippier handle (and then I personally would add a non-deep-carry clip)

So are you going to write up your thoughts after a year of only SE?

I've been considering it, but I don't think I will. Honestly, I don't have anything to say about SE that hasn't been said already, multiple times. My official verdict: I love SE and it'll always have a spot in what I carry daily :)

In 2020, I found out just how useful SE is. Unintentionally, I also found out that wharncliffes and hawkbills perform far better than a blade with belly, for my uses. Right now, I'm trying to get reaccustomed to using my "normal" bellied blades again. There are so many models I want to try, but I've become spoiled with wharncliffes and hawkbills :o .

Thanks! Im surprised I dont see more harpys around here. It is such a useful little knife, and I love the way the stainless handles look with wear.
