Ti Pacific Salt

#1

Post by vivi »

I was browsing Flytaniums website for Manix XL parts and saw these:

Anyone know if these would fit a Pacific Salt 2?

I love the FRN but I've always thought an upscale Salt would be cool. These or CF scales would be neat. But then again the flytanium ones require liners, which kind of defeats the purpose......

I’ve had similar thoughts. It only fits the screw pattern of the standard Endura and isn’t threaded, so you’d need a spare endura to put your blade into. Preferably a TiCn model for the black screws.
Lightly insane.

I would want something with grippy texturing on a Salt knife. If you're expecting it to get wet then titanium wouldn't be a very grippy scale.

Hey Vivi.
Maybe you can find a Damascus titanium endura, those don't have liners.

Aren't the blade stock and blade length slightly different?

Whilst discontinued years ago, they might still be available somewhere if you decide you want to do it and are wanting liners.

Personally, I think these should still be available for “signature series” knives but that’s a discussion for the shipping spare parts thread.
