question about BEAD5LY

Ok... simple question regarding the Spyderco bead and lanyard Bead5LY... i'ved received this week mine and would like to know what served the tinny white rope 20cm comes with?

Not for certain but I would guess as a starter thread to pull the lanyard through smaller lanyard holes? At least that would be what I would use it for.

It’s like when you order a milkshake and they bring you the extra portion in the metal shaker.
