Manix 2 LW CBBL stiff

This is my first CBBL, so I'm not sure what to expect. It takes a lot of pressure to release it and it is a little hard to get a grip on it. One member mentioned he has to put the butt of the knife against the heel of the hand to pull down on the CCBL.
My question is how much break in can I expect ? Will this lock spring loosen up with use ?
I have seen others knives that are loose both in opening and closing. Drop shutty. What are the opinions ?

I have two manix models and a third on the way, my first one took around two weeks to break in. My second one (from the seconds sale) came butter smooth! I decided with it being a second I'd add the flytanium ball cage a ceramic bearing and lighter spring. Also when I stored it I kept it open just a tiny bit to compress the spring, that also seemed to help speed up the break in. Hope this helps!
