Thanks Musroom for the review on the exclusive. I would have to say it is a very practical knife that will see a lot of different applications out there. I got an early look at this exclusive and since I had a bit of inside heads up I was able to get a few of them for my own use. My impression is that it has some military and slight tactical flavor. I have the original version in my boat, kitchen and other handy places. I rigged one up as a neck knife to use for fishing and it is always easy at hand for emergency use if needed. I also put 4 in a nice wooded box and this makes a great steak knife set. Thanks for all who have the Bow River and the feed back on it. Phil
Hi Phil, I have to say, I really do love the Bow River so far but I also must admit that I did not make that video. :o I saw it posted on youtube and thought I would share it with the forum. My apologies for the confusion. :spyder:
Then I saw the edge on your silver one. Looks like you've taken it down to roughly 15 degrees? Mine were about 20 degrees from the factory. How's that working out for you? I've thought about taking mine down, but it's already a pretty thin blade.

Yeah, it's at about 17 dps. I've used it primarily for mushroom hunting, but that often means I'm cutting into dirt and little rocks. I'm not slamming the blade into that stuff, but I definitely make contact and scrape the edge along rocks sometimes. No problems with chipping so far.

I'd be up for that except I'm embarrassed to admit that I still haven't used my original one. It's a really nice knife and I really like having a Phil Wilson model but I never think to use it
Of all the things I've lost I miss my mind the most!
