Been a long long time since I’ve been in here. This is one of my most cherished Spydercos, and what I believe the Advocate should had been. Blasted handles and flipper delete.

I am carrying mine this week too. Yours looks like an actual custom from Gayle Bradley though. Very nice! :spyder: And just curious, does the bead blasting remove the orange peel texture?
I wouldn’t say it entirely does, but you can barely tell it was there now. Thank you!
Thanks! I couldn’t 100% tell from the pic. I bet it feels just awesome.

Brouwer in the pocket today. It's supposed to be 65 degrees later, and my Christmas tree is up...just doesn't feel right for the Midwest!

You really are the only one around here I see post this knife. I honestly forget about it until I see it! Glad you enjoy it, nice to see something different sometimes :)
I really love the Brouwer. It's a great Delica-sized edc knife when I need to carry something small and slim, but more fidgety than a backlock. Just a bit less cutting edge than a para3 but not nearly as bulky in the pocket.

Cool gray kinda day.

Image

Before joining the forum, I never really even thought about taking pictures of my knives haha and I still sometimes feel a little silly stopping on my walks for a quick photo.. after taking this pic of my Sage today, I looked across the cove and noticed a full-grown man snapping dozens of pictures of his RC jeep. It was like a full-on photoshoot in the woods.. and I’m glad I witnessed it because it definitely made me feel like less of a crazy person for taking one picture of my knife! :p

Hahah, that's awesome Rick!! People are passionate about the things they love!

My wife complains how I have more pictures of knives than I do of the family on my phone :p

Ha! On my hikes it's not unusual to hear my kids or even my husband whining something like "hang on, mommy's stopping for anooooother knife picture." :D

Also, unlike our kids, our knives never go through a teenager phase where they don't like being photographed :)
