Probably anyone interested already has several M390/etc Delicas by now.

The zome patterns have little artistic attraction for me for the most part.

This went live 20 minutes ago and nobody here has made mention of it or a reference to ordering ... wow!

Yeah. I'm ok with zome, and I like the DLT shade of red. But I just bought their Cruwear delica and the 20cv delica from Knifeworks. Plus I'd like the pink one coming out soon. Just Delica overload! I'm sure these will sell out eventually, but might be around a few weeks. Not a bad thing, imo.

I ordered one of these today. I've been looking for an exclusive Delica with some American steel. Red is one of my favorite colors and I'm really on the fence with Zome so I figured I'd give it a shot and see what I think. When I get it in I'll let you guys know if it's better than the photos.

I would have posted a pic by now but the package with this knife in it was stolen from my front doorstep yesterday morning - not the best start to the week.

Ok but only because you asked nicely, please excuse the potato quality images.

Despite the anti-hype, I was mashing F5 at my keyboard during the drop :D.

Here's it with the rest of my delicas, I have a few more but these are my personal "trifecta" of CTS 204p, CPM 20CV, and Bohler M390. (RGB knives, for those of you into PC gaming)

Image

As a bonus here are the rest of my "trifectas". The para 3 is a placeholder until Spyderco makes one in 20cv ;).

This is the way! And just stumbled upon mechanicals last month, no RGB for me yet. Still sorting out switch types.

The USPS took 4 days to accept the package after receiving it from DLT (at least that's what Informed Delivery tells me) so mine will not be here until Thursday. :-(

It's only because of the zome handles. The Delica tends to sit a little longer than other exclusives too, but it's definitely the handles this time around.

Plus, there's the price too. Compared to the Knifeworks 204p Delica, whick looks way better with the plain green scales and perfectly reasonable $90 tag. I really love DLT and their exclusives but I swear they have some of the highest priced exclusives put out so far.

Can't say I'm surprised - when this came out on the news I knew that the zome handle would kill its sales. I still maintain that a plain red handle would make it more desirable to customers.

Glad this was still available. Got one on the way. I think this is Delica #7 this year. Think I'm done for awhile.

Love the first one so much, I ordered a second one. Without a doubt this is the sharpest from the factory Spyderco I've owned. And there have been many. The edge grinds are perfect which I'd guesstimate to be 13 dps. Great job Spyderco/DLT.

It is my first Spyderco of the year and it is really sharp literally and figuratively! The red and black zome might not appeal to everyone, but it's not hideous and shows it was an exclusive run. CPM 20cv was highly sought after not too long ago and it's still a premium steel. Not that uncommon anymore, but still a very high quality product. Keep it, sell it, use it and/or change the scales. I think it's a great knife and a positive addition to my collection. I guess in the end that's all that matters.

Saw on IG that DLT is dropping another variant with a coated blade. I feel they should have led with this instead of the satin version. It looks great.
