Glad to hear they're banning any bots trying to purchase. It's disheartening but not surprising in the least to hear about bots being used for this.

Also, I really wish twitter wasn't how they were going to announce models but if thats what it takes I guess I'll sign up for twitter... :rolleyes:

I for one will bow out with the push to have us submit to the use of another social media platform. Surely won't be using twitter to catch a SECOND especially with the headaches of the first hour and a half on their website.....That's poor form imo. This is my choice of social media from spyderco and I truly appreciate how it goes around here with personal communication. I will choose how I use social media and won't be influenced or swayed. Smdh

One of my transactions went through for a Ronin and I am stoked! I noticed that I have a pending charge of 185.00, but on my email receipt it only shows the 1 Ronin for 37.00. I was attempting to purchase 2 p'kals and a Ronin and I believe that is the pending charge. I don't see the charge for the single transaction... And I'm confused, but happy I scored.

I think those little Robin 2's would make great gifts for my friends though.

I think it is getting worse throughout the day. I haven't been able to get to my cart in almost an hour and things from my cart are selling out it appears. Oh well. Glad I got my 2 Millies and I will continue to check throughout the week for new drops. Thanks Spyderco! I really appreciate you putting the effort in to pull this off against all odds and seethers! This will likely be the only seconds sale I can partake in for the foreseeable future, so it is cool to even get this chance! :D

I haven't been able to get on to the website at all yet.. I'm thinking I'll try to wake up in the middle of the night to see if traffic lessens to the point of actually being able to see the sale page..

I'm glad it's a three day sale and hopefully there will be plenty of chances to get in on the deals. Regardless, the "oh poor me" crowd will be sharpening their pitchforks over this one.. the commentary is already unbearable in the facebook groups.. I don't think I'll be spending much time there in the coming days..

It's going to be impossible to appease everybody.. I appreciate that Spyderco is even trying! :)

I got an order in but it was a pain and took forever. Im fine with the website not loading while shopping. But I didnt like having to go back and resubmit my credit card number because the page wouldnt load after hitting complete order.

Definitely seems to be working better on desktop for me for whatever reason. I haven't purchased anything yet, but have been able to browse and add to cart so far if I just wait for the pages to time out / reload. I'm kind of waiting to see what the next update has before pulling the trigger on anything since my budget is pretty limited this year.
