Thanks fellas! :)

I’ve been using the 52100 CE PM2 at work for a few months. Light as it is, the LC200N SE Pac Salt is a real featherweight. Now we’re getting to shorts weather, I’ve been liking it carried IWB, in light running shorts, with the K390 DF2 clipped in my left pocket.

Also, after brother Wartstein’s recomendation of FFG SE grinds, it’s nice to have progressed from the CE PM2 teeth to a full length Endura sized blade in the Pac Salt. I also like the half inch or so of PE tip.

I need to find the time to regrind the humped nose to a pointier profile and crown the spine. I’ll also grind that small PE section to a more acute angle.
I’m liking SE LC200N so far.

The Chinook 4 came very thick behind the edge - over 0.030”, with an edge angle just a smidge under 20dps. It took quite a while to grind it down to 9dps on the benchstones, with a 20dps ‘microbevel’ off the brown SM rods. But it slices onions almost paper thin now, and should still be plenty durable - for my uses at least. :)

Image

Yeah, I know - the microbevel’s clearly visible, so it’s not really ‘micro’, but you get what I mean. :D

Why is it whenever you post a picture, you add a frowning face after it? Are you not happy with the pics, or the knives?

Nice to see your well used Endela, my friend. :)

And, as always, your picture postcard backgrounds of your beautiful country are superb.

I’m looking forward to maybe seeing some petroglyphs, the next time you come across some in your adventures! ;)

I have the K390 Dragonfly in my pocket, and the LC200N SE Pac Salt riding IWB at work today.
