I like it :) it certainly adds more variety than just solid colors.

Sadly, I don't buy as many knives as most do on this forum. There were several great Zome knives this year that'll I'll be missing out on. My only model with Zome is easily my most carried knife since receiving it in the spring of 2019.

It's not that I "hate" it.. I just really dislike most variations of it. The grey(white?)/black combo though, I actually kind of like, but not enough to sway me into buying a model that I already have in a standard color. And the Red/Black combo has LADYBUG written all over it.. I'd be all over a red/black Ladybug. But as a rule, Zome all but guarantees that I'm not going to be interested in a knife regardless of model..

A Zome Pacific Salt that is green w/blue would be very hard to resist.
Oooooh, that would look really nice! A mix of lime green, sky blue and white would be really nice. I'd be all over that in an LC200N Pacific Salt.

I love handles with color. It's almost the only thing that can get me to buy a new knife these days. But I don't like the FRN zome handles. It just looks like weird/bad camo to me, especially on the texture of FRN and on the narrow canvas of a knife handle. Maybe different/more than two colors would help, maybe smaller patterns, I don't know. I get the idea, but I just don't think it works. That's a "will not buy" for me, dog.

i either have or don't want models that have come out with zome. i really liked the last one with damascus steel, even though i'm not excited by vg10. as stated in another thread, i'd immediately buy the same combo in a rockjumper. i'll add that i'd buy it in a dragonfly as well.

I don’t ‘hate’ zome, it just doesn’t interest me at all. Also, IMO, on a knife handle it looks like a bad dye job.

Anyway, if I ever carried a camo knife, I’d feel like a wannabe.

Have liked a few colours I have seen but as always not the ones you could just buy.
Toxic Green would be a buy from me.
Basically the Delica would be the only model I would buy.

Mostly depends on the color combo for me, and if the zome "painting" looks well done and interesting.
Color combo would be the deciding factor for me too.

If I like the colors I'm ok with it. Just see no reason to get say, a Zome Delica, when it's just a color change over my regular Delica.

Umm, I don't hate it, I just don't like it. I'm here for the steel, not VG-10

Being somewhat obsessive-compulsive, it just looks messy to me. Come to think of it, I don't even have a knife with a camo handle.

I would add the design as well. So with a well established design, unless I have to have every iteration of it, then it will be about the steel. These do nothing for me since I'm not a Delica collector. Now if these were in in the Native 5's well then....

I like the brown and the green camo looking ones. I am not a fan of the rest. However...if they would take a tip from me, it has big potential. Instead of splotches, why not make the pommel end solid colored and then fade out into the handle color towards the middle?

i have never liked zome for the same reason i do not like camo. it is very tacky unless you are military or hunting.

I have about 7 models of the Zome. You might say I like them. Something different. Not a must have though.

I am totally in the "indifferent-camp":

A zome-handle would not keep me from buying a knife I like, but I would not buy one just for the zome handle either.
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)

I like the recent black and grey Damascus Zome and the camo looking one but some of the Zome looks like swirled....

Another pattern that could look cool depending on the colors is a sort of tiger stripe. I do think different patterns could be cool, I am not sure how they would manage that inventory wise because I doubt people would want the pattern they recieve to be up to chance, there are enough people that weren't happy with the Raffir pattern they got with their Chaparrals. They would either need unique sku's or just do it on new models, like say an SRS13 sprint with a blood red faded to black. Or a HAP40 sprint with black and orange stripes.
