Yes, I agree that CRKs become easier to open after some time. Its just that this is my second Chris Reeve folder, and I am somewhat peeved that every time I get a CRK, I have to endure a sore thumb for a few days while I get used to its peculiar mode of deployment.
Lol, pain in the ole keester eh? :D
Yeah, I'm not as young as I once was, so I prefer to limit the things that cause me unnecessary discomfort. I can always open the CRKs two-handed if I need to :)

Not in my pocket, but my buddy at work that's into these raffles and gets some CRAZY high end knives. He won this one the other day, it's a $1,400 custom that he had a raffle in for $450 and won.

Yowza! Marfiones are the bomb, but a buy in at $450...pretty steep  If he doesn't win, does he get part of it back or it all goes into the seller's pocket?

Straight to the sellers pocket. He's got a serious gambling problem, but when he hits...he hits nicely! He does these raffles for fancy and exotic cuts of meats, cuban cigars, etc. It's insane. Good thing he's higher management here and makes 6 figures or I'm sure his wife would leave him :p

Not exactly users, or my style but, but I can appreciate that these are some crazy expensive knives! These are a few more that he's got that he's sent me. That one with the Marifiones is a stock picture, but he actually ended up winning that one too and brought it in before.

Definitely a sweet looking knife Jesse! Reminds of the WE Knives Deacon, but with thumb studs.

Ah, that's why it seemed oddly familiar. I had seen the Selkirk fixed blade before, but never knew Buck came out with a folder version. Thanks for the info!

Those are gorgeous scales. It gave me a wild scifi daydream that maybe in the future we would see SAK scales that functioned as a touch screen information display, much like the present smart watches.
