Manix2 Backlock - Lightweight?

#1

Post by BDNX »

Being a huge fan of the M2 Backlock I was wondering if anyone would be interested in a lightweight version of this model? I thought it might make a great version to do in the Salt Series as well.

Of course I’d still love to see some sort of M2BL sprint run in the future.

Yes!

But for me and especially in a lightweight with the thinner blade stock of the CBBL version (and not the thicker of the backlock)
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)

Find a Manix 83mm and you'll find out the Manix 2 Backlock IS a lightweight.

There is this saying: you don't step twice in the same river.
I am not sure if we ever see another variation of Manix backlock. Mainly because the Manix backlock was discontinued fairly soon, after 2 years IIRC, so the sales were not that great I guess.
For me, I would like to see big Manix backlock with better clip placement
In the pocket: Chaparral FRN, Native Chief, Police 4 K390, Pacific Salt SE, Manix 2 G10 REX45
