This is what's getting ready to happen to mine.

Looks fantastic!
Removing the flipper tab was a huge improvement to the ergonomics. Highly recommended
I believe it.

The Mantra 1(sans tab) is the ultimate rendition of the Delica. I've been putting it off, but not for much longer.

Once more I "recycle" a pic from the "Rex-Tober" thread...;)

Fits, cause I carry the Rex 45 Manix right now (like actually every single day since I got it) and the weather is like the pic suggests... rainy autumn, but I like that. :)

That’s such a good looking knife!
I’m a sucker for purple.

One of the things I love to do most is searching for old, forgotten pathes/trails in our local mountains.
There are a lot,be it for smugglers or hunters in former times, be it just for connecting now long abandoned alpine pastures.
Really hard to find sometimes, since there are only minimal remains over long stretches, but once you are on such a path sometimes you can find old, hand forged brackets for ropes or petroglyphs and dates chiseled in rocks back to the fourteenhundreds (as a matter of fact: Some of the pathes go back to the bronce age, so like 3000 before Christ, which is prooven by findings of artefacts from those very ancient times)

Have been searching for such a path the last few days, this particular one should have existed since at least 1300 and was last mentioned in an old book (from 1849, so around 170 years ago) - could not find it yet, but just the search is fun and exciting, and the Manix was always with me... ;)
