My newest acquisition is still in my pocket.. third day of doing some work on a mountain hut, and the Manix sees a ton of use. I sometimes do miss the longer cutting edge of Endura or Pac Salt, but other than that: Just a perfect work knife.
And REX 45... well, I am not a steel expert at all and my comparisons to other steels are by no means "scientific"; but I am more than impressed. I really cut masses of cardboard, whittled wood, cut cordage and packages and food... and still the Manix shaves hair and cuts thin paper easily. Furthermore I can see or feel no rolls or chips whatsoever. Also no signs of corrosion so far.
Pics below: Manix on some cardboard I cut with it to burn it in the oven afterwards (the cardboard, not the Manix

) and cook dinner...

Top three going by pocket-time: Endura 4 in VG 10/Micarta-scales; Stretch 1 in VG 10; Endura 4 in HAP 40
