I saw that. Looks great!

I've been thinking about having one of my Ti knives done for a couple years now. I look into it but then don't get it done for some reason. I did buy a ZT that was done last Christmas. I like it. One of these days I'll get my Mantra, Sage 2, or Swayback done.

Well that's interesting. I think I like the look of natural titanium more, but interesting nonetheless.

Saw these on Knifejoy's instagram as well. They're cool but I cant justify a third Spydiechef just because its blue.

I bought a second Spydiechef specifically to have it custom anodized. BladesWeLove does some really cool titanium anodizing. I like the "psychedelic" colors and patterns he uses.

Yes, BWL is one of the sites I was considering. SNK has done some cool stuff too. I think that's where I get stuck though. Do I want some cool pattern or do I just want the whole thing to be green or blue?

Yeah when I first got a spydiechef it was with the intention of having it anodized. In fact, I'd seen an all-purple one on Knifejoy's website and loved it. Sadly, the Spydiechef really wasn't for me and I sold it. But I love this blue - if I was in the market for a Spydiechef, I'd get this one.

I hope to be able to get one of these. Put a few things on pause when I saw it the other day

Not usually a fan of his designs, but something about that shade of blue really stands out nicely to me compared to the standard version.

I wonder what the price will be. I've avoided the Spydiechef but that blue is tempting.

Kind of neat to see a Spyderco exclusive of one of their Ti models!

They're around $239 if I remember correctly. Only about $5 up charge for the anodization.

Yeah it does look nice. Tempting but I already have too many Ti frame lock knives

That Add To Cart button is still there. I don't want it but i kinda sorta do. I had to cancel my credit card yesterday because of fraudulent charges... So no Spydiechef for me.

Just received mine, Spyderco knocked it out of the park. The blue anodization looks perfect and this is the first chef I've had with little-to-no lock stick out of the box (not sure if anodizing helped at all with that?). Also amazing action and probably the sharpest factory edge I've seen (it actually splits hair out of the box!). Oh, and I love the black wire clip! If you're on the fence about this one you should definitely pick one up!

I can't believe this one is still in stock, given how much of a frenzy there was over the original a while back.

If it were purple, maybe.

Thank you for those pictures! Would you say that is the true color? I love that dark blue. Mine should be here Wednesday. Looking forward to my first Spydiechef.
