2021 Spyderco Forum Calendar - Prizes Correction

Hey, everyone!

I copy/paste the rules for the calendar contest each year and then just edit the pertinent details with any added updates/revisions. I made a mistake this year - I neglected to change the prize from last year for the 11 months winners. I also pull the inventory ahead of time (when possible), so we can ensure availability.

That means instead of the C223PBK Para 3 (MSRP $140), winners will receive the C251CFP Watu (MSRP $260).

We're working on shipping prizes out this week. I wanted to let everyone know before the prizes are received.

przemekspce, your grand prizes are as originally posted and will ship as soon as they are released.

I agree! I would be grateful for any free knife, especially this one since it has some sentiment to it. But to go from a Para 3 LW to a Watu was an awesome surprise!!

I debated hard for a while on a Watu when it dropped, loved the uniqueness of it. Plus I'm a sucker for carbon fiber, but haven't pulled the trigger on it. This just made my day! Thank you Spyderco :D

Nice gesture on Spyderco's part, definitely feels like an upgrade. I like my SPY27 Para3 well enough, but the Watu has to be my most carried knife at the moment and possibly one of the best knives I've ever edc'd

I received my Watu on Saturday! Thank you very much Spyderco! It's a such a cool and unique knife. It actually arrived the same day as my DLT Cruwear Delica. I was looking over the Delica and admiring that very thin blade that USPS delivered, as most of my knives have a bit of a thicker blade then FedEx showed up and delivered the Watu. Talk about a thin blade stock, WOW! This things must slice like no other. I found myself fidgeting around with it quite a bit while watching football yesterday.
