Question for Sal regarding the green LC200N salts

#1

Post by vivi »

Can we expect more models to be run in this configuration if sales are there? I would love to see a PE Aqua Salt run with this setup (Your fault, by the way ;) ), and I think a Salt 2 and Dragonfly Salt would both sell well.

Either way THANK YOU for putting this FFG LC200N Pacific Salt on the market. When the Pacific Salt 2 came out a lot of us weren't sure if the project was still in the pipeline. This was a very welcome surprise for me this morning.

for a long time, i've said i would immediately buy a blacked out df2 salt if they made it. if there was a ffg version in lc200n, i'd be all over it.

Oh yes, quite a pleasant surprise. I had to rub my eyes a couple times and rechecked it after a cup of coffee to make sure I was seeing things right. I’m definitely in for the SE version.

Now if Only it can make it to the police 4 LW platform...... :spyder:

This was the best reveal for my preferences thus far, and the LC200N Salt series is my favorite part of this reveal by far! I and many others have been waiting for those LC200N Pac Salts for a long time. They are going to be a huge hit with a lot of people. I am going to get both the PE and SE. I'll probably get a PE Atlantic Salt to try as well.

Yes, PLEASE keep these Green LC200N Salts coming! And please add some TiCN to the mix. Paired with the Green or just blacked out, or both.

My wishes for this series...

1. Spyderhawk 2 Salt SE
2. Catcherman 2 Salt SE and PE
3. Police LW Salt PE & SE
4. Dragonfly Salt PE and SE
5. Dragonfly Salt Hawkbill PE and SE
6. Dragonfly Salt Wharnie PE and SE
7. Pacific Salt 2 Wharnie PE and SE
8. Salt 2 PE and SE
9. Salt 2 Wharnie PE and SE
10. Tasman Salt 2 SE
11. Jester Salt PE and SE
12. Manbug Wharnie Salt 2 PE and SE
13. Ladybug Hawkbill Salt 2 PE and SE
14. Dodo-fly Salt PE and SE ;)

so basically all of them... :) Now I am not going to be able to sleep until Reveal 7!

I really want a dragonfly 2 salt in the same configuration.
I would also be all over an aqua salt.

Wonder if there will be any performance difference compared to Taichung and Goldens lc200n.

I had been planning on getting a regular SE Pacific Salt 2 somewhere down the line, but I’m glad I held back. This SE FFG LC200N version is what I’ll get (eventually)!

I would flip for any and all of the SE hawkbill salts in this lc200n/green combo. TiCN would be like dark chocolate icing on the green cake.

This is great news!

I’ve had a sheepsfoot SE Caribbean on the list for a while, but it just seemed like a bit of a redundancy when I already have the PE leaf blade Caribbean and a SE Pac Salt.

I’ll certainly be getting this model instead now. I’m really looking forward to this one!

Yes, me too! Especially a new Spyderhawk! I'd like SE in all of them, but the smaller Dragonfly and Ladybug Hawkbills I'd like in PE as well.

If nothing else eventually down the road there may be some all blacked out FFG/LC Salts and you can swap the black blades into the green handles. I wasn't expecting a SE Autonomy 2 let alone one in all DLC.

One thing that really held me off from getting a Pac Salt was the steel. As a recreational freediver and snorkeler, the size of the Pac Salt really appeals to me compared to the smaller Salt folders. The new reveal is a very welcome news as many definitely prefer LC200N over H1.

I think that vibrant green would definitely look good on a Para3 LW... :D

Was super happy to see this reveal on the Spyderco app today :-)

I had passed on the Caribbean as I know I wouldn't have carried it over the weight, I will carry that Pac Salt 2 to try LC200N as I already have it in H1, will be fun to compare

Two questions please:
1. Will we see a Salt 2 and Ladybug now?
2. With these being made in Seki, is this the beginning of the end of H1? I hope not

Nerdlock, opinions are definitely varied, but I don't think LC200N, or really anything else, is going to be better in serrated edge than H1. Some want the ffg though.
