Ed's design was genius. He made a folder of the concept and carried the waves into the handle flawlessly.

Hey, Sal. I’m late to most parties, but I usually get there and am happy I did.
I found a Kris yesterday (on National Knife Day, no less) and it’s headed my way.
I suspect the Kris will be the grail I didn’t know I wanted. Funny where new curiosities can take you.

Good find.
It looks like the original maker does not feel they can make it. The next possibility is at capacity, so it may be a while.

would I be alone in wanting this model (or at least this blade shape) in a smaller fancier role? 6.5in overall with polished bolsters and wood scales maybe?
Lightly insane.

I would want the original first. But, I am all for a smaller one, if the curves can still be proper and not cramped.

Having come from Yakima, it left Nashua this morning, so I expect a Monday arrival. :)

Excellent! It will bring a little central Washington sunshine with it to you, coming from within the sunset shadow of Takhoma (Mt Rainier)!

Now that this has been delayed, I am going to really start hunting for one.

Likely to cost you.
It did me (not saying how much, to avoid influencing the market), but you will not hear me complain. I had to come ‘round to wanting it. Once there, I didn’t even hold my nose. I’m simply grateful to have found one.

Did you get one new or used?
