Nutnfancy is Total Garbage!

He gave a terrible review to the Spyderco Province, which I love, and then paraded a bunch of garbage in front of the camera.

THIS GUY IS NUTZ!

Why is he wearing gloves?

Regardless, I'm not interested. It's the rare YouTube knife review that can hold my interest for more than about 5 minutes. If I was interested in the Province I'd rather spend that time researching it on the Forums here than watching 25 minute long "tabletop" YouTube ramblings.

All of it misinformation too. The Province is full of slice and thrust capability. I own $20,000 worth of knives and it is easily one of the top 5 knives that I have.

I go to YouTube for reviews after I've decided to buy a knife. Nutnfancy is so far off base, I cannot understand it.

He must have 100,000 followers and he is leading them down a path to h*ll!

What do I "use" my Spyderco Province for? Self defense. PERIOD.

Yes, it can do more mundane tasks but if you have no firearm or are out of bullets, the Spyderco Province is the knife you want to have on hand.

Don't believe just myself. Read what others have said. And....save me a couple more you hot dogs!

I don't have an opinion on the knife but I haven't watched any of his videos for a couple of years for this reason.

Many people have weighed in on the knife. As a self defense weapon, it ranks right up there....until I sharpen the top swedge, then I'd say it's #1 or #2 in my collection, possibly only second to the Spyderco Sustain in 20CV.

Instead Nutnfancy parades pot metal knives in from of a 4V beast like they are something to behold.

What in God's name!!!

If and when they have a remake of the film 'Exposure' (aka High Art A Grande Arte) out of Brasil, I expect to see a Spyderco Province or a Spyderco Sustain on the table of knives being offered up for sale.

True, and that description, as you say fits most of the (for some reason) popular YouTube influencers/"reviewers"

1. I like the province. Its one of the few knives I will probably buy a backup for.

2. It is a great working knife. I did some batoning with mine. I would like to do some more woods work with it for camping in the winter.

3. How big are his hands or how thick are those gloves? I have large hands and there is plenty of room on the handle without gloves. Even with thick gloves on my large hands theres enough room. That bark river seemed to have the same amount of grip area. And that case had one of the worst handles I have seen.

4. You cant say a knife isnt a work/woods/hard use knife if you havent used it in that way. Its fine if he knows the handle wont work for him, but that doesnt discredit the knife for others.

5. Considering that cheap moras and buck 119s have been used for just about everything, then I am positive a province can do real hard use work just fine.

6. This is where the internet can drive me crazy. Since he is one of the ten youtube "knife authorities", a bunch of people are now going to think the province isnt a good option even though they have never even held one. I love the design of it and think its one of the best fixed blades on the market. Its not perfect for me either, there are a couple things I might have liked to have seen designed differently, but its still really good and one of my favorites.

I can try and see where he is coming from. A lot of these will sit in collections. A lot of them wont get beaten on. I would also like to have seen a lower price, but there have been very few cpm 4v fixed blades. A lot of that price is the fact that it is a huge chunk of cpm 4v.
