This is from Indian Beach, NC on the southernmost island of the outer banks. Thanks for the acknowledgement Connor. It is gpod to be back. Haven't purchased many new knives in the past few years but lately I can tell I'm going to need to re-sort my funds.

I've been to the Outer Banks once, down to Cape Hatteras. Beautiful coast!

i took two images on my pac salt today. one in the ocean for my calendar submission and one on my favorite hike in front of my favorite waterfall on oahu. its been really cool living in a place where i can go on a hike in the morning through a bamboo forest to a beautiful waterfall and then drive 20 minutes to get to a wonderful beach with crystal clear water. it seems fitting to me that i brought the pacific salt on both adventures (i always have it with me anyway) since i bought it specifically for moving to hawaii four years ago.



now... what knife will be my virginia knife?

i won't lie... it crossed my mind. especially after cleaning up an old rescue model for a friend. the ergos on that knife are wonderful, but i really appreciate the small section of plain edge on the pacific salt that is absent from the atlantic salt. i think i'll go with the caribbean instead. similar ergos (palm swell) to the atlantic, but also in a comp lock and g10.
