Custom UKPK

#1

Post by pdixon »

:) It’s not super lavish, but it’s what I like! If I was designing the UKPK this is how I’d make it....(actually I’m lying I’d have the blade off the Pacific Salt 2 on there in black)....but this is close enough!

I wanted the original UKPK as I like the grind on these best, the current blade I find too featureless. It was refinished by @odins_gear on the ‘gram. Black blade and hardware, tumbled titanium scales.

I love it!

Nice! The hollow grind on the UKPK certainly does look pretty

That’s very cool. What’s the blade steel? I’m assuming GIN-1 since it’s hollow ground.

I guess I’m confused on the scales too, are those custom made? The spacing for the body screws is different on the old Ti/CF/G10 ones versus the FRN ones, and only those FRN sported those hollow ground blades (the fancier ones have FFG blades). Very interesting! :)

That looks pretty good. Now I am thinking of Ti scales. I wonder where to find some?

It is indeed one of the older FRN models. Like I say I went for that as I prefer the blade on it, despite the weak backspring. The knife looked like this a week ago....

Give him a shout, he posts worldwide according to his info. I’ll definitely be back for more, I think when I get the HH version I’ll send him that for a black with copper scales mod!

I was wondering where this one went.

He has just made me three sets. Mine are the fluted carbon, and the two titaniums (jigsaw and union flag) with the stonewashed blades.

THey are all really good, and I can't recommend him enough.

Can you see those ok? You might need an instagram account

I only created an instagram account to communicate and order from him.

Thank you, but I cannot see them as I don't have an account.

Doing this on mobile, so might not work out.

To be honest, if you are interested in seeing some food work for the UKPKs, then for the sake of 5 minutes, you would be better off making an account to look at his page.

I hate social media, but it has been worth it this time.

Thats a beautiful UKPK. Makes me think I'll carry mine tomorrow. The union jack might be the best though!

The top 2 are titanium, on the CTS BD1 that he kindly stonewashed for me.

The bottom is carbon fibre, that I put on the CPM S110V.

You'll be liking thin air mate, but feel free.

Having said that, I will wedgemarker some eyebrows on, and thot it round the place in hot pants endorsing BS diet lifestyles, if I start getting that sort of money.

Have always got the better half to do my Instagram dirty work.

She got me a few fishing lures for GTs a few years back and the guy gave her a extra one and a discount because he thought it was cool she was buying me lures for my birthday.
( could have been all of the pictures of her in her Samba costume on her instagram )

Thank you! The extra effort is appreciated.

Those are some wonderful UKPKs, any of which I’d be proud to own and show off.
