I just received notice from the Spyderco app that the SpyOpera is now shipping to dealers

Still trying to decide if I'll be buying one of these

Excited! I have a pre-order on this guy from camp saver (they were running a promo), hope they get them in stock soon. I look forward to hearing reports from everyone as they get them in hand.

I'm really wanting this...

But, I also want the Pochi...

I could get both, but that may result in legal fees that I can't afford! Hehe

I will buy one. The lil Lionspy was a great quality knife and I expect the same from this.

I'm be curious if someone get this Rockwell tested since Lionsteel isn't known for hardening M390 to its upper end.

This is one the reasons I’m holding off on this one.

Oh man I love this one so much! It's got such a great vintage spyderco look. The micarta looks smoother than I was initially expecting, but with the rounded scales I think it'll be great.

That does look nice. I'm excited to get one in hand once they become available to a dealer near me.

The thread count in the linen used in the micarta is pretty high. The scales are polished or machined smooth to a fine texture.

I am kicking myself for not grabbing one from the SFO today while I was there. It was one of the last knives I saw after letting my wife try a bunch until she settled on her first pocket knife. If I had only known. The knife is on my must have list. I'll pick one up as soon as I can
