Tasman Salt was my first H1 knife too. I can speak from experience when I say don't let it go dull. They're not very fun to reprofile

Day 2 with the Siren.

Yeah... I love tool steels & love having a serrated blade at all times so this was a great pairing of two of my newest acquisitions. Thanks for confirming what I've been reading/hearing about SE H1 blades, I'll really try to make sure it doesn't get too dull, I've got a huge box to cut to ribbons tomorrow to really get my first real use of it under my belt... I'm looking forward to it.

Nice! That’s my absolute favorite model from Spyderco. It’s the only one I have an actual backup for. That thing can take some serious abuse. And stays sharp for-ev-er! And I love the relocated detent. No need to have a swingy blade on a field knife.

Thanks man! It’s one of my favorites too. I agree with you totally! My wife surprised me with this one a few years ago. It’s funny, but the first time I saw a picture of this knife, I didn’t think I’d like it. After I studied it and held it for a while, however, I began to see the genius of the design.
