Yeah.
I am pretty excited.

I have found someone in the UK who does custom scales. Titanium, carbon, copper, more or less anything tbh, so if anyone needs thise details, I can give them out.

I am assuming this is OK, if it isn't then I won't.

Someone should start a thread on "what scales are you going to put on your Damasteel UKPK". It'd be cool to hear people's ideas.

I still don't understand why people want Ivory G10?? Those scales will quickly dirty and require constant cleaning, if you actually plan on carrying the knife. If it's going to sit in a box or a safe, then I guess it doesn't matter. But as a knife you want in your pocket...it's not going to be good.

A friend of mine at work has had the Mini Bugout with the white scales for 3 weeks now I think?? They look terrible already! I'll get a picture next time he's on shift and post it here.
15 :bug-red 's in 10 different steels
1 - Bradford Guardian 3 / Vanadis 4E Wharnie
1 - Monterey Bay Knives Slayback Flipper / ZDP 189
1 - CRK Small Sebenza 31/Macassar Ebony Inlays
1 - CRK Large Inkosi Insingo/ Black Micarta Inlays
1 - CRK Small Sebenza 31 Insingo/Magnacut

I quite like it, but mostly they will not run up the price of this knife.
I am hoping they will contrast nicely with the darker blade.

Bjorkman's Twist is reminiscent of sedimentary rock outcroppings which I find can be quite beautiful.
The tight lines and larger layers make me think this pattern will be really interesting to admire up close and be somewhat eye-catching from afar.
Having said that, I'd be more than happy to see this project come to fruition in whatever form is determined best by this forum's wonderful members and Sal/Spyderco.
Thank you to Superfool for all of the hard work you've put into this!
I believe this is a great opportunity to begin contributing here and I am very glad it's in a thread that is so representative of this part of the community's dedication, greatness, and friendly attitude.

Strong preference for Hakkapella, but would buy Bifrost, not sure if I'd buy Bjorkman's Twist.

I find it really amazing that I can come up with a rough plan, and have so much help to shape it into something fruitful. I have learned so much, and will hopefully continue to learn more. Everyone here has been so nice.
