Yes. Even though the "solid copper handle features internal milling to reduce weight and, with the exception of the stainless steel compression lock tab, the scales have no liners" it weighs a whopping 7.47 ounces!

Hahah, no worries, that's a great price for what.. I assume will be.. a fantastic knife! The Xl is one of the few models that I haven't tried yet.. I really do enjoy larger knives, but I find that I have have such little occasion to carry them!.. I'm ok with it though haha.. Any Spyderco's a good knife as far as I'm concerned!

Hahah, no worries, that's a great price for what.. I assume will be.. a fantastic knife! The Xl is one of the few models that I haven't tried yet.. Or be a loyal customer. I feel like they probably give their "preferred" customers a heads up or early access. Kind of like the whole Knife Joker debacle with the Green Cruwear Shaman. Just speculation on my part based on previous drops though.
