This guy showed up in the post yesterday so he's gonna be in the pocket for a bit. I don't know why I haven't tried a Native before this, it's right up my alley! :spyder:

Nice!
Should I ever decide to come back to the Native, this is the exact version I'd want to own! :)
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)

Thanks Wart! It's definitely a good flavour. Love the burnt orange personally, and am excited to see what Rex45 performs like.

By the way Warriors and Wonders here in Canada has a bunch of these guys still in stock currently. I am half tempted to pick up a backup just in case ;)

Perhaps you should get that backup indeed. If you keep it safe from corrosion in its box, I am sure that THIS is a model you could easily sell again anytime later, in case you decided not to keep it some day...

Thanks. I wish I had your mountainous backgrounds. Unfortunately most places here are below sea level. The highest points are the levees keeping the water out.

Salt 2 LW, its the perfect work knife for me. Was a lifesaver today, saving me from having to crawl out of a bilge, down a ladder and across the marina for the utility knife I left in the truck. This thing put in some work removing an old crusty heated/melted on plastic hose on a bronze fitting. Very cool.

Most titanium frame locks don't seem to work for me, but there's no denying that the Swayback is one sexy knife!

Vivi, I do hope it's really you (that would make my day) and not someone just kidding us...

The thing that makes me doubt a bit: Pac Salt TWO... I can recall that Vivi clearly preferred the E3 (Pac Salt 1)-handle over the E4 (Pac Salt 2)...

EDIT: Man, it's really you.. just checked your posts, a NEW member would not have (your) over 6000 :p :p
(Btw: Did you get the Manix XL Exclusive? ;) )
It's me. Gave the Pacific 2 a chance. It's a good knife.

Pacific Salt 2 Observations, anyone?
Vivi, I started this thread a few months back... hasn't taken off the way I anticipated. I think you would be a great contributor if you're up for it. Sharpening threads have taken a huge nosedive during your absence.

Any other new knives added to your rotation during your slumber?
Just a back-up Pac 2.

Got a few Leathermans and a bunch of new sharpening supplies too. I went back to carrying a Squirt PS4 so I picked up a spare, and finally came across a black Kick with a pocket clip.

I have been happy with the PS4. I had been concerned it was too small to be useful, but it's cool. I have an OG PST and a couple Waves for full size pliers tools.

Hey, did you ever find a multi blade traditional knife that suited you?
