Forgive the ignorance, but which model is this? I like everything about it!
That WAS a Yojimbo. I think it’s a Yodigno now :p
If you would be so kind, what is that a reference to?

Picked this fella up today. What an absolute monster. I always loved the Native5, but always thought it lacked a little in the blade length department. This knife is perfect, especially for a left handed individual such as myself. The backlock works beautifully, locks up solid and releases freely. I dont know why I waited so long to try out the Chief, needless to say it was worth the wait.

Thanks spyderco.

Ever see a turtle carrying a Ladybug? (Joking aside, it’s a Blanding’s turtle, which is an endangered species in our area). We gently moved him from the road and sent him on his way to the wet land. 🐢

The only member of the Native family that really makes me want to pull the trigger. But as I’ve said before, it needs the 52100/PPCF treatment

Beware, the Turtle Squirt!

I watched a lady in a Mercedes attempt to move a turtle out of the road once...

...I could've warned her.

But, then she would've missed out on a good life experience...(and it was hilarious!)

To her credit, she did get it out of the road. Albeit, a little more briskly than she had anticipated. :D :p

Cool pic!! :)

This is a static cord/rope- not a climbing rope, right?

Haha! I’ll bet she did. We usually try to move turtles off the road when possible, unless they’re big snappers. Those guys are just downright mean—they’ll hiss, snap, and otherwise try to eat your car as you go by.

This pic is actually two years old , but since I was at the exact same place today carrying the exact same knife (but no cell phone or camera) I may post it again.
Haven´t been carrying the Stretch for a while now. Just rediscovering again what an amazing design it really is! :)

Thanks, that´s nice to hear! :)

I too love shots that not only show the knife, but also a bit where fellow forum members live and where they like to go to feel good and maybe use their knives.
And this world is such an amazing one, and offers a bazillion great "backgrounds" for knife shots. :)

You sure love your satin version and give it a lot of work though! I do love this knife, it's my favorite of the 3 Para 3's I have and 7 that I once had. My only knife remaining in M4! When I was doing those weekly reviews of my knives in different steels, this one really was the biggest surprise (in a positive way) in how it performed compared to all the others.
