I'm convinced people will have numerous checkout bots ready to go for this one... Also, there will be a large handful of people who claim its too heavy or they don't want it but will silently end up with one anyway because they know they can flip it for a profit.

I'm just super anxious to snag one. I try to avoid the PM2 madness but I just can't resist the copper scales. If I miss this one, I'll undoubtedly be setting up a checkout bot for future knives.
They might be in for a surprise, given how many people are out of work, how many more will be, and the future economic consequences of closing the world. I'd say this is a poor time to try to make a buck on luxury items, but who knows.
I'm actually glad I was wrong! :D I was able to get an order through with minimal issues. I got a 404 error page immediately after submitting my order, but fortunately it went through anyway. Then it lasted for plenty of time afterwards to secure one if that didn't work.

I had two bots running and two other browsers open.

I was able to buy one, not with automation, but by refreshing the pages manually and clicking to check out. When site traffic is overwhelming I don't think a bot/script/automation is any type of advantage over manually checking out - except maybe if someone is trying to purchase multiples (which isn't my thing).

As I write this a script just notified me that it went out of stock at 10:31am MDT. Is that the actual time it went out of stock? Hard to say because not all automation is accurate to when something occurs in a site, but rather when the automated function runs and returns a result.

Anyhow I'm stoked because I was able to buy one and that flippy balisong pen from spyderco.

Glad you were able to snag one.

Cue people who didn't get one crying how they're never shopping at bhq again (until the next exclusive)

Phew! The longer it was up the more I wanted to buy it just cause I want to buy PM2 everything. But I'm glad I held out. Besides, I already have a brick of a knife in my copper Natrix XL letter opener.

I said no, but was curious how fast it would sell. About 12 minutes into watching it I bought one.

I'm such a sucker.

Back up to 4 Pm2's but still down from the 20 or so I once had.

Got one. Or at least a confirmation from BHQ that I did. Now I have to play the waiting game. Glad I did since I hit the snooze on the original orange/REX45 PM2 and then regretted it.

Now to watch all vids and fidget with my copper Maratac light and figure out how to to get the scales the "right" blue-green.

Got one! Very excited. This is my first non-S110V Spyderco product. Do we know how many were produced? I may have missed that but didn’t see it listed elsewhere.

Anyone know how many were in this run? Maybe a higher number since they lasted 28 minutes?
