TkoK83Spy sir thanks for the picture I like the looks of the color on the Shaman it's not as bright as the Para. I am looking for one but I don't think my luck is going to hold out. So many people want a Shaman Rex 45 and I am so new to knifes.

I actually bit the bullet and sold one so that now I can always say that it’s ok for me to order knives. I’ll just sell the ones I don’t like. Plan seems to be working :D

In the mailbox at home...but my wife is working from home. June was "supposed" to be a "no new knife" month. I can't wait for the text message I get once she grabs the mail today :p
Tell her you thought she said July lol
Or tell her you had the dealer cut some stuff with it and it's no longer new. You never agreed to not buy a used knife...right? :D
Of course I got a text yesterday while I was at work, it read "Now what did you order?? STOP BUYING KNIVES"

I told her I was going to sell another to make room for this one...but I currently don't have any I want to get rid of, so this plan is currently on hold :p
Sounds like you need to buy another one so you can sell it. 😂

Never thought of it as being pumpkin spice but that's pretty funny. I love the nicknames this forum comes up with

Mine came in.
I still think this burnt orange looks just like the color of red clay.

Action and lockup are perfect. Fit and finish is excellent.
The edge grind is not perfect, but it is also not bad.

I agree! It's much different than the frn or regular G10 scales. I'm digging it!

Same here, my show side bevel towards the tip is a lot higher than the clip side. But, it's still very sharp and cuts like a knife should...nothing that won't be sharpened out or to even bevels over time anyways.

I am learning one thing for sure you have to be on your toes if you want a sprint run knife. I singed up for a few notify me and I got one today and by the time I looked they were all sold out. :(

But I think my luck is about to change...time will tell.

That's a great philosophy. I'd like to convert and join your tribe. I tried recently, but remembered how much I hate eBay, how much I hate PayPal, and how I don't understand reddit. So I'm just going to keep everything I own, pile it higher and deeper, and let my heirs figure out what to do with it after I tip over.

Believe me, it wasn’t easy! Actually it was an exclusive I bought it a moment of weakness, so while parting was sad it was bearable. And now I have like a years worth of “remember when I sold that one...”

They were in stock at DLT, got it in the cart... no joy

________________________________________

That happened to a friend of mine today, as well.

I just happened to be in my email box today (Monday), when the DLT In-Stock alert popped in (Jun 15, 2020, 11:46 AM Central). Within a few seconds, I sent that info via Text message, to a friend of mine (I had already gotten my Shaman a week earlier). I even immediately copied and pasted the link from my email, to him on his phone. So he would only be a quick tap away, from the correct DLT listing page.

Later he told me, that he just happened to be using his phone to check a message that had come in, when my message came in. So his phone was in his hand, with the screen on, and he was already in his messages. When my Text arrived. It couldn't be any more perfect.

He went right to DLT, via my link, and placed the still in Stock Shaman in his cart, but was then quickly blocked while going through check-out. Because they went out of Stock, just that quick.

A good example of a 'perfect storm'. Of being in the right place(s), at the right time. Moving quickly, and still having no luck. It was about 60-90 seconds, from the time I saw that email come in, live, to the time he was shown "Out of Stock" during check-out.

So then of course, I had to take a quick picture of my Shaman, and send it to him. You know. To make him feel better. I'm a good friend! :D

Speaking of me not carrying this yet... Yesterday's pocket conditions ended up with some corrosion on the s30v I had in pocket. I'm sure even protected rex45 wouldn't be happy, haha!

Can we get some more piks of the burnt orange with other models? I would like to see the difference.

I have put in a couple of notify me on different web sights...and by the time they sent them they were gone on Monday so I called another vendor and he took my name and number. I was told they were going to get some in on Tuesday or Wednesday. So today I spent all day at work checking my phone about every five minutes for a call, email and their web sight looking for "They are in stock" nothing today. I going to try one more day and I am done. I am so new to this I probably would not be able to tell the difference anyway. I can understand how some of you feel. :(
