Stretch Wave Sprint run!!!

Post by Indoril »

Should Spyderco make this? Would you buy it?

Edit: there's no No option because it's the default state. To find the number of people who default to No, do some simple math :)
(Population of Earth) - (# who answered YES) = (# who would answer NO)

I love that you didn't put no as an option!

It was an option, I ticked it. Haha

Not a fan of the wave, definitely not on this knife.

Once he took out the no, the poll became moot.

More like a communist poll.

"Do you love Mother Russia?"

A.) Yes

B.) Definitely

C.) Absolutely

D.) I've always wondered what Siberia was like...

Not for me, sorry.

Love the Stretch platform, but not the wave feature. More power to all who do, but I feel like by making the blade less tall it impairs performance, and can get in the way when stabbing through stuff.

And one can always do the zip-tie mod if just the function of the wave is desired.

So for me: If another blade variant, let it be a Stretch 2 SE... :)
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)

I love the Stretch family, but I'm a solid no on this one, not the right platform.

As most others have said, I love the wave and I love the Stretch, but I don’t think it’s the right combo.

Does that complexity decrease the simplicity? Not at all.

Don't like the look at all. Collides with the spydiehole, which I dig.

Now the ROCK JUMPER on the other hand... that could be interesting with its lack-of-finger-choil and Wharncliffe blade, and the handle is pretty similar to the Stretch. I could see that with an Emerson hook.

Over on blade forums no is the runaway lead. Do not make this knife. That said, a straight back in a Japanese laminate steel would rock
