I'm skeptical of the Para 3 news from this thread as some things don’t seem to add up. Or, maybe, it’s worse. I’m not a conspiracy person, but maybe there is something here. Some of the Para 3 news “seems” to be blocked by Apple, Google and others so “some” people don’t get the heads up. I assume I will receive numerous death threats because of this post, but I felt that someone somewhere had to stand up and say no. Or maybe yes, depending on the issue and you people know what I mean and if you don’t, I’m not sure what to say as you probably think the backlock is something.

That's nothing new. Knifeworks has been overcharging the same $119 for almost 6 months now.

It's hard to make the argument that they're overpriced by charging $119 for a S90V Delica.

If you look at significantly larger competing retailers like Knife Center and Blade HQ... On either site, if you look at all brands of folding knives, use the filters to show only S90V, and then sort by price, you'll see the lowest cost alternative is a Benchmade Proper slipjoint for $204.... and it's just a slipjoint!

For that reason its much easier to make the argument of a $119 S90V Delica being an extraordinarily good value and definitely a fair price for a dealer exclusive.

I'll back that up with my own money. I ordered one today. I missed it the last time they made it available.

I guess my argument is that Knifeworks is only offering 25% off MSRP. I'm a little sour when it comes to MAP and the price increases. I'm not a fan of FRN and wouldn't pay $120 just to get S90V on a Delica. I would rather pay more for a knife with my desired handle materials.

Even if they were charging full MSRP + 10% which happens in some industries, they'd still have the lowest cost S90V folder from a major production knife maker available.

Despite what's happening in the world, covid19, trade wars, tariffs, increased cost to do business, etc, Spyderco is in a growth posture which itself is excessively expensive.

I dont like higher prices but I dont subscribe to the belief that they're over priced.

Thank you, RamZar! :)

Did I just see Sal smiling, and have his tongue hanging out just a little bit? When he said: "No wonder we're tired." :p

Well done Sal, and to all of the Spyderco gang!

Some of us have been wondering, if the Manix 2 Rex 45 LW delay, may have something to do with the possibility. Of having it switched over to screw hardware, instead of pinned. Modernizing it, to be like the Para 3 LW. Any possibility of this happening, Sal? :spyder:
