Ouch. Have nearly done that.

The silver lining is a (few) pocket-sized ceramic file/ hone(s). Find a small tube or other secure spot to carry it?

LOL I thought about it. already ordered 2 new ones... a whole $23.80. Not bad. Figured they were both the same age so might as well just replace em both. It took the 3 foot drop off the counter.

On the bright side, now you have a few tiny stones that you can use for small, irregular work.

Yeah that's best.

I still have my original ones I got back in the late 80's or early 90's I can't remember that far back. LOL

Mine came with a VHS tape.

Sad. But trust me, the tile losing would have been even worse.

Yep. Been there done that. I stashed one half in a desk drawer at work and the other in my tool box.

I will have to console my whites and browns and show them the dangers of being in the world, that way your tragedy can be used for the good :p

Break them up into smaller pieces and use them as tumbling media to stonewashed the clip on the new Swayback!

Argh, that's the worst feeling. Well, maybe not the worst, but you know what I mean.

On the upside, as Enactive said, the pieces make handy little pocket stones held between thumb and forefinger for touch up sharpening jobs.
