Yojumbo?
Re: Yojumbo?
I think this may be my new left side carry knife. Any guesses to a release date? Who has it for pre-order?
Re: Yojumbo?
Personally I can't wait for this to drop, even though S30V wouldn't be my first choice of steel, it is still a perfectly capable & easy to maintain steel, and frankly, this large a knife, from Spyderco, for it's street price, is an amazingly good deal. I will be more than happy to pay more for a sprint down the road if it's done in S90V (but please no slippery CF) or if it's done in a good tool steel all the better, this knife in 4V, Rex45, or K390 would be a must have!
Cheers,
John

Re: Yojumbo?
For a sprint, CF would not be my first choice, but it's OK. I'd rather have sticky G-10. S90V or 20CV for me.
But, I do have 2 Yojimbos in CF and 20CV and they are excellent.

Re: Yojumbo?
I showed my wife this and she told me to order a Yojimbo 2 for her when I order my Yojumbo. I can live with that.

Any update on ship dates? Can't wait for this one.

Re: Yojumbo?
It's been a long time since a Spyderco peaked my interest the way this knife does. The Yojimbo always had my attention but it was too small.
I love thin tips so if this one is extra pointy all the better.
In my mind the Yojumbo is a twin brother to the Military. Not an identical twin, it's a very different design language, but the results should be very similar.
