#1

Post by Larry_Mott »

Just read on Rainy Vallottons Facebook that his father passed early this Morning at 77 years of age.
Sincere condolences to family and friends.

That's a bummer, I loved his auto conversion.

Saddened to hear this. I only met Mr. Vallotton once, but he seemed like a very nice person. Prayers for his family.

Oh man. I am very sorry to learn of this.
My 1st Spyderco was the Vallotton.
I still have it too. An incredible folder, both beautifully made and tough as nails. Unrivaled tip strength imo.

I've never met the man, but I've heard a lot of good things and love his designs.
My condolences to his family.

I once had a lengthy conversation with Rainy, Butch didn't make the show. I loved his designs, may he rest in peace.
