My apologies everyone. Didn't mean to turn this into the Bi-weekly photo contest but judging completely slipped my mind and, of course, you guys didn't make it easy!
The winner this week is The Meat Man. I really like the contrast of the knife silhouette against the color gradient from the light. Great shot!
The runner-up this week is abbazaba. The earth tone colors in this shot really compliment the pakkawood handles. I really like the shimmering effect the whiskey in the background has on the knives.
Thanks Connor. It came out creepier than I thought it would haha. A very cloudy day yesterday, then for about 5 minutes the sun came shining through just before sunset. I had just finished a workout in that room, where my knives are and decided to see what I could get.

That image needs to go on a "This house protected by Spyderco" sign for your front door! :D

I'm sure the wife would LOVE that, along with her pretty floral wreath she just hung up the other day :p

This is a really cool shot. Reminds me of a movie poster for a slasher film.
For being just a silhouette, it actually has a lot going on! The sepia tone, the way its framed, the subtle shadow from the blinds being boldly overpowered by the dark mysterious figure, and the angle of the arm plus the little bit of visible leg gives the shot a feeling of movement and creates a sense of tension. As insidious as the shot may seem, I love it and think its calendar worthy! :D

Hahaha, thanks Nick! I wouldn't go so far as it making a calendar! I could see that freaking out some people
I did love how the color came out. That wall has a yellow/goldenrod hue to it and the wall to the left is kind of an red/orange. I've always loved the way the color looks in there when the sun is setting.

It could be a screen grab from a Miami Vice episode. Phil Collins drum solo playing in the background...
