SS Jester in S30V

#1

Post by kwak »

I want to see the Stainless Steel Jester with a blade from S30V.
Anybody with me ?
This could be a real hit i think, especially with the trend nowadays for smaller blade politically correct pocket-knives.
Somewhere in the Spyderfactory they must have a big pile of S30V scraps which they could use for it.

YES, I'm in. Plastic is ready to go :D . One in PE and one in SE please. It's probably not been done to this point in order to keep the cost of a keychain knife down to what most folks would think is reasonable.
To every complex problem, there are numerous, simple, easy-to-understand wrong answers.

I know you meant to say S30V and Carbon Fiber. ;)

I don't think it would be a big seller for the general market, but I'd want one. But don't forget the handle after adding S30V for the handle. How about a titanium integral compression-lock handle for the Jester, like a micro ATR. It would show a sense of humor?! :D

Seriously though, make it with something a little more upscale than SS, like carbon fiber, titanium or Micarta (again).

Now you're talking. I'd get myself one in a heartbeat (but it should have a pocket clip) ;)

i'd like to see someone trying to close a compression lock that tiny :D
i think it's a good idea but the price can only be reasonable with a frn handle... but then again, a tiny byrd could come out as well
