And with a 30° microbevel it's a breeze to touch-up.

I've always liked this version of the Yojimbo. I debated for a while to grab one, but didn't. Seeing it again makes me regret that decision! Great knife, I'm surprised we don't see more them around here. Totally forgot about it until you posted that pic.

Pinned construction, combo edge, not FFG.... not popular traits but I like it quite a bit. One of the smoothest back locks I own or have owned. Love the neutral handle.

I'm not a huge DLC fan but it's definitely grown on me. I have one of the CF/S90V yo2s but figure this is better for work. They stuck around for a while too but I'm sure everyone would price gouge it now.

Thanks! :)

Where and when have you been to Austria? And yes, get an Endela, and get it in SE... you won´t regret it!

How were the ergo's of the knife for you as you cut through all that cardboard?

Amazing. No hot spots. No cramping. Felt very natural. I could literally go all day. The small jimping on the ricasso does a good job of helping me locate and index the edge. It may be my favorite design feature. That and the LACK of jimping on the thumb ramp, which can tear me up sometimes. This could be my #2 favorite Spyderco next to the Wolfspyder. Which has the best ergos(for me)of any Spyderco I’ve ever used.

I visited the small town of Tux and the Hintertux Glacier in February of 2012. It was quite cold and snowy, and we had a great time there! I will connect with you via PM to share some more details. :) And back on the topic of the Endela, I do think it looks like a great knife to have in SE, especially considering the flat grind.

Looking forward to your pm! :)

As for the Endela SE: Certainly the flat grind is one factor, but even more important for its amazing performance is the particular, rather "mild", shallow and non aggressive serration pattern it has (at least that's what I figure).

I have a Microlight coming in the mail right now, plus a new belt sheath for my Leatherman Wave. Figured it's time to step up my EDC. I'm really looking forward to the flashlight; I think I'll be using it a lot, probably more than my knives actually!

Congrats! I use my Microstream WAY more than any of my knives/multitools. A small flashlight is something I never leave the house without. I love knives, but there are times when I wonder why I'm not more of a flashlight "enthusiast" the way I am with knives.

Did you get a factory made sheath from Leatherman, or an after market sheath?

Aftermarket, from Amazon. American Bench Craft is the company, not cheap but looks pretty sturdy. I've already gone through 3 belt sheaths for my Leatherman so I hope this one lasts!

On the light, I went for the USB rechargeable. Partly for the "cool" factor but also because it apparently has significant performance advantages over the AAA version because of the lithium battery.
