The last firearm that I bought was a used Franchi SPAS 12. I traded it back in in less than 2 weeks because it had bad springs. It was very heavy and the best thing it could be used for is battering someone over the head with it. Hahahahaha...

That is very nice SG. I carried a Model 15 heavy barrel for about 20 years. They had phased them out for Model 65 stainless which for practical purposes was the same gun except in .357 and stainless. The Model 15 was what I was sent to armorers school for and I'll always be fond of them and because of the familiarity of decades of training and daily carry it's the one I'm the best at shooting.

For years we had a bunch of different models including the Colts, S&W Mod 10, 15, and finally we ended up getting rid of all and starting over with brand new stainless 65's. That made things easier.

I knew of other prisons in the system that still had lever action Winchester 30-30's and one still had some old Thompsons sitting in an arsenal . Who knows what is still sitting around some of the different states armorys.

Love it. I had the SAS version, and ended up getting rid of it in favor of the XL.

I have a few different handguns, so for me it became a bit of a pain changing back and forth between the SAS's sighting system and traditional sights.

Glad you like it though. Variety is the spice of life as they say.
My next will more than likely be a Beretta 92X Performance.

Finally found my unicorn yesterday afternoon! HK P30L 9mm in V1 light LEM. It’s the LE model which has an extra mag (3 total) and Meprolight night sights. I paid more than I wanted to and still got a pretty great deal, I’ve been looking for one for well over a year, I pick it up Tuesday.

This shop owner said it just showed up, turns out he ordered this one at the 2019 Shot Show, this is just the second P30L he’s had in his shop since the end of 2018!

That is a fantastic pistol, my wife bought me mine in 2005, no telling how many thousands of rounds have been through it?
