How do you like it? I know Pete from Cedric and Ada thought the detent on his QC was a little weak. The Vanax steel is pretty impressive though.

Detent is perfect on mine. Haven't read any reviews yet but I think they nailed it. A little more gentlemanly and small than I was hoping... I ideally I would like to see a longer version with a frame lock. The Drift was great other than the opening hole conflicting with the finger guard when opening.
I'm stoked they are using Vanax. Hopefully we'll see something from Spyderco eventually (Manix2 LW Salt if I'm lucky). Or how about a Slysz Bowie Salt sprint run in Vanax

It’s a Cold Steel Micro Recon. It completely sucked in the hand. Only good in one position. I fixed it, and changed the blade shape too.

That turned out great! I'm a big fan of the Mini Recon, which is really a mini Code4 in profile.

Today's new arrival : the ZT 0640. Nices ergos, great blade, perfect fit and finish. Centering on point, though the washers will have to be worn in over time.
Weird look for the carbon fiber, it's definitely more yellowish than green, very Nurgle-like in colour but nice feel in hand.
No lock-stick, no play.
The only negative I see so far is the very tight pocket clip compared to the PM2's. I'm going to give it a couple of months and see if I want to change it. It's not going into jog pants unless you prime it first by raising the lip.
Still, I'm satisfied by that first impression !
Edit : it IS a little thicker than I'd like behind the edge. I'll wear out the factory sharpening and see if I can get it a bit slimmer freehand.
