Finished slicing a poorly-sliced pizza with the SE wharncliffe Endura :)

Typical daily cutting tasks, with the exception of helping the skeleton maintenance crew cut up some rubber to use as vibration absorbers for a couple motor bases.

Did some light wood carving with the Zoomer!
Found a small old rake head in the woods behind my house, so I decided to revive it for my niece so she can “help” with yard work. :) I took the handle from an old broken kids snow shovel and used the Zoomer to thin the taper a little bit so it will fit completely on the rake head. The ergonomics on this knife are absolutely phenomenal! :spyder:

Made a grocery run today, the store was running low on bags (I guess they're made in China, go figure) so they asked if I minded them packing my stuff into cardboard boxes instead. "Do I Mind? Do I Mind!?" Little did they know, I had a new Spyderco Para 3 LW in my pocket and I couldn't wait to reduce this mess down into the recycling bin. B-)
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.
Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

Praise the boxes, without them we would all just be waving our knives around in the air!kennethsime wrote: ↑Wed Apr 08, 2020 12:03 amMade a grocery run today, the store was running low on bags (I guess they're made in China, go figure) so they asked if I minded them packing my stuff into cardboard boxes instead. Re: What did you use your Spyderco for last?
Last time I picked up one of my many Spyderco knives, it was an FRN Endura, and the clip had come slightly loose in my pocket. I'm very detailed and meticulous with precision things like torx 6 screws, but a small turn on a screw, and it stripped.
So, I tried swapping scales from an another endura model I had, only to find out just how fussy these particular models are. When disassembled, but hey, scales are not sold anymore....
No luck, and I'm not wasting time sending them back for work. They're going in the garbage during this covid19 scare, with the rest of my spring cleaning
Rest of my Spyderco knives are probably going up for sale, and they're all shelved.
Been a collector since 97, but no more.
Disappointed in the quality of the Seki models, and Golden models are just too expensive.

Re: What did you use your Spyderco for last?
Well that is sad to hear! Were these older enduras? I've swapped blades btw at least four of my delica 4s and never had an issue, although I have found I needed to swap both the blade and lockbar together.D-Roc wrote: ↑Wed Apr 08, 2020 3:42 pmLast time I picked up one of my many Spyderco knives, it was an FRN Endura, and the clip had come slightly loose in my pocket. Edit to add: there are definitely some tricks to reassembling the seki backlocks - youtube helped me greatly.

Trying to teach my kids how to build a fire, so I've been using my Shaman for shavings and what not.
Re: What did you use your Spyderco for last?
I used two of them for an experiment!
I had put a RGT clip on my P.I.T.S. because I despise wire clips marking up my titanium handles. Also for that reason, I haven’t enjoyed my Mantra 2 yet. So, I moved the RGT clip from the P.I.T.S. to the Mantra 2:
And how delightful a change it is!!
